I’m Tinashe Chipako; the creator and author of the blog posts on Football Iconic.com
According to my day job, I’m a Civil Engineer. However, I’m also a casual football player and a hardcore fan. I’ve always been interested in the game and tried to learn as much as I can about how it all works on and off the pitch.
It can be a little complicated and often it’s hard to find all the answers you’re looking for.
Have you ever googled something, but just couldn’t seem to find the answer to the question you were looking for? Well this site isn’t meant to be google, unfortunately.
But it is the next best thing (from a football perspective at least).
Football Iconic has four focus areas in terms of informational content. These focus areas are:
- Football general knowledge (football explained),
- Football positions and roles (positions and roles explained),
- General footballing equipment (gear explained) and finally,
- Mini documentaries and tributes to iconic players, teams and events
